E-commerce BRANDS spreading the ❤ to those impacted by covid-19 on april 16th

About

Food banks and non-profits are struggling to find the resources they need, millions of Americans now find themselves unemployed through no fault of their own, and organizations across the country need personal protective equipment. These are our communities – and they need our help.

As e-commerce brands, we haven’t escaped the negative impact of the severe economic downturn ourselves. That said, we are incredibly thankful and grateful that many of us are still able to ship to our customers across the country.

Being able to operate provides us an opportunity and an obligation to help those in need. To do this, we’ve developed the #Carts4Hearts campaign, a concentrated effort on Thursday, April 16th, for e-commerce businesses to share online sales to provide relief for those in need.

The campaign is a citizen-powered stimulus to achieve three primary goals:

  1. Invest in charities, organizations, and GoFundMe’s that are supporting those most impacted across the country
  2. Provide discounts on e-commerce brand websites to the general public (similar to “Cyber Monday”)
  3. Allow e-commerce brands to generate cash flow during this downturn, which will in turn help them in efforts to retain employees

To make a major impact, we are inviting any e-commerce business with financial flexibility to join the #Carts4Hearts campaign. Together we can combine our efforts to make April 16th 2020 akin to “Black Friday” or “Cyber Monday,” with the primary goal of supporting those most affected by this crisis.

All participating brands will offer their customers a sale on their website and match that sale percentage with donations to organizations, fundraisers, and GoFundMe’s to aid efforts that alleviate the societal pain caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Here is a link to all current participating brands.

It’s inspiring to see so many brands independently participating in initiatives like this already. But with a core focus centered around a specific date, we have an opportunity to go big together.

If you are an e-commerce company and would like to join the effort, please follow this link to learn how you can help and participate. We will list and continue to update all brands and link their charitable organizations at www.Carts4Hearts.com. We will all send an email to our email lists on the morning of 4/16 featuring the campaign and linking to the Carts4Hearts website to drive visibility to all participating brands and charities.

Thank you in advance for your help. It's time e-commerce brands come together to help and spread the love to those who need it most!
